Title: The Foon-Spork God
Note: The designated "Kid Appeal" character, the one the children watching/reading are supposed to identify with. (I.E. Robin, Superboy, Bumblebee, etc.) Although more team members have been added since him, Plasto will always be the new member who's just learning things. A little naive, a little nerdy, but his heart's definitely in the right place. Feels he has to prove his worth to Speldor and the others. (He doesn't.) Bold, rash, overconfident in his abilities, which gets him into plenty of trouble. Everyone gets sick of him at times, what with his inexperience and disrespect for authority and all, but they have to look out for him-- he's the new guy, after all. Furia, his girlfriend, sticks by him and supports him more than any other group member.
Advantages: Plasto is one of the two people in the world who can tell the difference between foons and sporks. On the metaphysical plane, they are very different, but on Earth the difference is too small to notice... unless they're in Plasto's hands. Sporks are physical weapons; Plasto can whip 'em out and slash a foe to very small bits. Foons, on the other hand, are energy; he can send of volleys of flaming, electrified, plasma, or what-have-you foons to incinerate, electrocute, or basically eradicate his enemies. He can also summon a Spork Elemental from the Spork Plane of Existence, which can beat up almost anything. He's not yet experienced enough to summon an energy-based Foon Elemental, though.
Disadvantages: He teleports a lot, which is generally considered bad form if in the midst of a battle. Has a knack for buggering things up and pulling boners, which gets most of the rest of the group exasperated with him. Not having seen much combat before, Plasto is easily cowed and might actually run away from a fight, if the attacker is scary enough. Becomes intensely angry when he sees cheap plastic sporks, like the kind from a cafeteria, and will do all in his power to destroy them that very moment.
Appearance:Plasto's hair is "lengthening", which means he has short bangs in the front, but it's long in the back. He wears a brown robe, and a pendant made of three foons, with a spork attached to the center foon. He wears glasses; for some reason, I always draw him with "swirly-eyed anime nerd" glasses, like Umino/Melvin from the Sailor Moon series. If you're alert, you might see the jeans and t-shirt he wears underneath his robe when he jumps.
